Anyone done this update?

I'm leaving on a trip next week and admit to being a bit reluctant to update firmware just before leaving.

Did the update, seen no consequence (good or bad).

Looks like it helps shooting in unstable situations.

Like earthquakes.

Does anyone have a copy of the 1.10 firmware? I seem to have misplaced the card it was on... and I like being able to roll-back the firmware in case something goes bad after an update

I don't think you can. The camera won't accept an older version of the firmware

You could very well be correct... I've never tried to roll back firmware versions, but had always assumed I cold if wanted to...

I am new to PentaxForums and the Pentax digital world but I also have just purchased a new K-70 with DA 18-135 on Sept 29th. Have shot a couple of pics using the old firmware with no problems before updating to Vers 1.11, no problem so far but you got me thinking about a roll back to the original version so I went on a search. Downloaded vers. 1.10 from this site!

I've just bought the K-70 and when I go to the website all I see is the manual for download and nothing about firmware. As I've had a very bad experience with a 2nd hand Pentax last year I will steer clear.

It's at the bottom of the linked page. If your K-70 is still on Firmware 1.0 I would update.
