Compatibility of Sigma lenses with K70

I have a Sigma 70-300 1.4-5.8 APO macro AF and a 24-70 aspherical AF which I used on a Pentax istD. Are these lenses compatible with the Pentax K70?
Many thanks in anticipation.

Can't comment on that lens as I haven't had one, but, OTOH, I haven't had any troubles with other Sigma lenses on the K-5, K-3 & K3 II and now the K-70, apart from having to calibrate some of them on relevant bodies

The only thing I can add to the above is that the Pentax 55-300 "PLM" lens would be a massive "step up" in most respects from that "quite old" Sigma lens, if and when you could possibly afford one.

BTW, the K-70 is an "awsome" little beast regardless of anything else

K-Mount lenses are K-Mount lenses. If it fit one K-Mount camera it will fit another like the K-70 and KP and K-1, the issue specific to the K-1 and certain Sigma's causing minor cosmetic damage to the body notwithstanding,

All K-mount lenses are compatible with all modern Pentax cameras. There are some lenses that can't use all of their functionality on some older DSLRs, like the DFA* 50 and the DA 55-300 PLM, but all older lenses are fully functional on Pentax cameras.

I was talking about on older DSLRs like the K-10D.

Quite so!

OTOH, the OP is specifically interested in the K-70.

The only incompatible thing is on the k1. Some sigma lenses scratch the overhang slightly.

PLEASE focus on the OP's original question (and apologies for my comments which probably lead to many of the following posts going "off-thread")!

The OP got his answer by the third post in. I'm assuming every answer since was a member working on post count for this month.

If the lenses worked with your ist D, they will work with the K-70. With very few exceptions, older lenses will always work on a newer Pentax body.

I had a Sigma 50-150 f2.8 which worked perfectly on my K50 but wouldn’t communicate consistently with my K3ii, autofocus and aperture control dropped out intermittently. I’ve heard other people had similar problems with this lens on later Pentax DSLRs.

In answer (in part) to the original question, my Sigma APO 150-500mm DG OS HSM works perfectly on my K-70, as does my Sigma 18-50mm DC and my Sigma EX 70-200mm f/2.8 with it's matching 2x teleconverter. My only other Sigma lens is an old M42-screw 21-35mm, still in regular use, currently fitted to my *istDS
