Congratulations! Beautiful camera. I am delighted to see Pentax resume offering cameras in colors other than black and silver. My K-S2 is in matte white with light grey rubber/silicone grips, and I get lots of compliments on it. Some people stop just short of saying "I didn't know it was physically possible for a camera to be any color other than black!"
As countless others have said, Ricoh/Pentax botched this rollout a bit. It should have been called the K-70s or the K-70+ or the K-70 mk II. Only the sourest Pentax trolls would bother making videos or blog posts excoriating "Pentax Announces the K-70s" for being a deceptively minor update. Calling it the KF indicates that it belongs in the mid-tier "letter" models such as K-x, K-r, KP, or K-S2.
The K-70 never seemed a proper replacement for the K-S1 and K-S2 because the K-70 had no color options. I'm not saying the right answer is 100+ combinations of body and grip à la the K-50, but neither is the right answer "it also comes in silver."
I'd buy the Crystal White KF in a heartbeat if my K-S2 weren't already a solid delight. Enjoy it!
