I've had a blue K-30, red K-30, black K-50, and gray K-70 and they all held up great except for the blue K-30 that the dog mistook for a chew toy...

My blue KX looks great but then I seldom use it. I also have a Panasonic Lumix FZ50 in silver that's got a big, ugly scratch across the top of the flash, which looks even uglier because the black plastic underneath shows through. The silver body looks pretty cool but one in black is far more forgiving
