How would one get a sensor dirty so quickly??
I've had my Q-7, with its more exposed sensor, for 22 months now, and my K-30 for 16 months.
I did see one seemingly dead pixel on Q-7 pictures, so I told each camera to clean its sensor every time I turn it on.
I haven't seen a consistent spot on either camera since then.
Of course, ever since I got my first ILC in 1979, I've been careful about how I change lenses.
