For those shooting with the K70, how does the color compare to those images taken with a K50?
I liked the results I got with my now defunct K50 and am considering the K70 after the first of the year?

Fairly difficult light with snow, snow squalls, clouds, very bright sun, and very deep shadows from low sun angle (~15 degrees and down... down from a noon high angle of 19 degrees).

Sigma 17-50 lens

(much post processing here to get a better handle on the light)...

Snow squall 30 minutes later...

55-300 PLM landscapes taken across upper Placentia Bay (close to site of Churchill/FDR meeting before US entry into WW2 where Atlantic Charter was signed on BB Prince of Wales.)

One more. This time 3 stacked (StarStaX average mode) frames using an ND filter to get a 1/6 sec exposure/frame. I find this technique produces more of a horsetail than a cream texture in the moving, aerated water, though given the distance the effect is hard to see here.

I finally got my first keeper after getting my K-70 a couple of weeks ago, I'm not counting all the 'test' shots to make sure I had no front/back focus issues with my primes.

I'm impressed with how well it performed under adverse conditions as I was shooting into a very strong back-light (bright early afternoon sun plus snow) and through two panes of glass in the window! I was using my DA 55-300 at 300mm, f5.8 @ 1/750 sec and ISO 200. I had to do some PP work to tone down the highlights (bright snow), crop out unwanted stuff and bring up the detail in the bird but overall it came out OK.

Re. low light and in body stabilization on K-70. Cat jumped on some clothes on couch that were hot as fresh out of the dryer. Taken under natural night light in a room lit by 2 60w equivalent lights (1 LED, 1 CFL) on table lamps. Used DFA 100mm WR @f.2.8 and @ 320ISO. Forgot to turn off my normal daytime -1.3 EV compensation to compensate for harsh light here. Added up to a 1/8 sec exposure which I took hand held sitting down with elbow blocked on knee. 6 shots, 3 keepers with very little motion visible (2nd pic is 100% crop). Here's one of the keepers. That one can do this sort of photography these days--even on a silly subject--never ceases to completely amaze me. (click pics for EXIFs)

slightly cropped

100% crop

A couple of samples

Have had the K-70 since August. Both these were taken on the DA 50mm f1.8, so noisy it makes me miss my 35mm f1.8 Nikon a fair bit but the photos it creates are great despite the noisy AF! The 18-135mm kit lens is amazing for travel and really sharp from what I have seen, I now also have the 17-50mm f2.8 Sigma for low light and general use which was great to take photos over christmas.

I am slowly coming to love this camera, it is my first Pentax, and the more I play with it the more I am learning how to use it to its best abilities, the dynamic range is great and the colours are lovely and vibrant. Let me know what you guys think of these! I have many more but am limited to upload space for now...

Some K70 plus Sigma 150-500mm HSM sample photos from me. Acquired the K70 end of Nov 2016, most of my pictures are mostly wildlife shots.

Just bought the K-70 yesterday so not much time spent making photos yet
Just a bit more DOF so the entire rose would be in focus would fit my taste better (but that's just me!!). Nice pic though.

Some pictures from today in good weather and light conditions. Taken with the DA* 300mm and the DA 1.4x teleconverter.
