I shot these pics on the AZ portion of Historic Rt. 66, during a 4-day photo workshop with AZ Highways Photoscapes.

It was my first trip out with the K-70 & 18-135mm lens.

That's very cool - sharp detail forward - I'm no expert but I think your composition is well done. I have never seen this vine, in bloom or otherwise, thanks for posting!

Went for a walk after lunch today and the sky had gone all weird. Decided to take the K-70 out with the Sammy 16.

Googling around this may be called a "Sundog" pretty cool (no pun intended) to see SunValley's capture of a Sundog!

Raptors

Went to see some raptors at the local county lake a week and a half ago. They had a few on "display", live birds tethered to stands, and I was able to get within 30 feet or so, and get some decent shots. That got me so pumped that i went back the next day, hoping to see a Bald Eagle in the wild, even though I had never seen any at that lake before. Surprise! The first set are the captive birds, then the Baldies I found driving around the lake, along with a couple from another lake the next day. Fourth from last is a juvenile baldy, according to someone who should know, with a non-bird thrown in for good measure...
