Went to see some raptors at the local county lake a week and a half ago. They had a few on "display", live birds tethered to stands, and I was able to get within 30 feet or so, and get some decent shots. That got me so pumped that i went back the next day, hoping to see a Bald Eagle in the wild, even though I had never seen any at that lake before. Surprise! The first set are the captive birds, then the Baldies I found driving around the lake, along with a couple from another lake the next day. Fourth from last is a juvenile baldy, according to someone who should know, with a non-bird thrown in for good measure...
