Pentax K70 + kit lens (18-55 WR)

Another look at the stars, this time at the Bubble Nebula, NGC7635, through a DA*300mm lens. 40x90sec @ ISO1600. Camera and lens mounted on an HEQ5 eq mount.
I would usually crop the picture to focus on the nebula, but it’s too small for the 300mm. Decided to keep the full FOV.

I have just seen this post. Those car transported keep doing that, one was run aground by the pilot to prevent a capsize in the solent about 4 years ago. It was going over due to some internal ballast pump problem and would have blocked the shipping lane to Southampton. Impressive sight up close like that, and what a clean bottom too. Probably quite new.

I’m actually taking my better half’s first roll of spent film down to be processed tomorrow! Fingers crossed it’s a good set of snaps!
