K-70 build quality

How does the build quality of the K-70 compare to the K-200D? I am thinking of upgrading to a new camera and I am looking at the K-70. I have the K-200D and I really like it's build quality.

much better, youll be fooled to think its a full magnesium body..but not so great on ergonomics, buttons and dials are kind of out of reach for short fingers

I have my K-70. They are very good. Little heavy. I hold my k-7 and k-70 feel same size.

The K-70 is in the same class, but I'd say things have improved since 2009

You don't get the magnesium alloy body like the top tier models, but it's still plenty sturdy and durable.

They certainly have. You don't notice the incremental improvements so much from model to model, but there have been a few occasions where I have been able to revisit an older camera model I used to own and love, and each time I've felt a bit of "How the heck did I put up with this thing??"

One big improvement you will notice is the viewfinder ( K200D uses a pentamirror ).

I can't tell you compared to any other Pentax but it blows the Sony A68 out of the water, and it feels like a $1000+ camera in build quality.
