Upgrading the body!

Hello ..

I look forward to upgrading the camera body to Pentax K-70 , i have Pentax k-01

I do not see any significant difference in the accuracy of the images, where the sensor is the same size.

Is there a personal experience from a member about upgrading ?

Thanks

What does accuracy mean in this context?

The K-70 delivers more resolution (no AA filter + more pixels), better color accuracy/white balance, better dynamic range (14-bit raw), and lower noise. Should be a pretty big bump up due to generational improvements in the sensor.

I think you'll find the K-70 a nice upgrade. In addition to higher resolution, dynamic range etc., you will find it much faster on focus and general response. It's a nice camera.

In that case you may see improvement. The newer sensor has 1.5x the number of pixels and the improvements already mentioned (no AA filter, 14 vs 12 bit raw etc. )

I still love my old K-01's, they're lots of fun to use. But this camera is two gens improved in terms of performance- besides being the best deal in the DSLR world.
