Got new K-70 with 55-300 DA WR PLM lens

I have upgraded after a long long period. My K100D served me well. Now I have upgraded to K-70 with 55-300 plm lens. I also have 18-135 mm DA WR lens and an FA 50/1.4 . This is kinda adequate lens setup for the time being. This is one of the early shots.
Cropped, Auto adjusted, no other PP. Pentax 55-300 mm was used at highest tele.

Nice shot! I am waiting for my HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm f/4-5.8 ED WR Lens, not the new PLM like yours but I couldn't resist the price, here is hoping I can get similar images.

Good luck!

I think old WR lens is quite capable too. I think PLM has just a silent and quicker motor and Retractable design. You shall get good images I am sure.

That a great starting combo. My first step into digital was a *ist D 6MP, a DA 18-55, an FA50 1.7 and a Sigma 70-300. The lasted me 5 years. Your 'This is kinda adequate lens setup for the time being." kit, is actually pretty good. I still use the 18-135 on my K-3, and it continues to be my most used every day lens. With those lenses, I'd recommend either the DA 50 1.8 or the DA 35 2.4 so you have something for low light situations as your next purchase.
