Press the "up" button on the 4-way pad (while outside of any other menu) to access the drive mode menu. The continuous mode is in there:

If you're in AF point selection mode, press and hold the OK button first to "unlock" the 4-way pad. The status screen on the rear LCD should show you what the current functionality of the 4-way pad is.

The Continuous shooting works only in AF.C mode? Because in AF.S even I set to high speed continuous shooting it takes only one single photo. Thanks for the help. Regards, Karl

Is the camera set to release priority or focus priority? If it's the latter and the subject drifts out of the focal plane for the chosen focus sensor the shutter won't fire.

Af Mode - AF.S
AF Active Area - Spot (center)
AF.S setting - Focus Priority

Here is another question for Back Button Focus. Is my setting correct? Are these OK for planes and for flying birds?

AF/AE-L Button - Enable AF2

1st frame Action in AF.C - Focus Priority
Action in AF.C Count - FPS Priority
Hold AF Status - Low
