discontinued sigma lens

has anyone used discontinued sigma lens on your camera. i saw on sigma website that some discontinued lens will put a
scratched on the body. it has taken me a long time to build my lens collection. does the scratche make a diference in the picture

Hi Adam

How are the K-5 series different from the K-70 as regards to lens mounting
I have the 70-200 hsm11 and no scratches ?
I thought only the K-1 had the scratch problem

It's just a question of how close the prism housing is to the lens mount. Newer cameras like the K-70 and K-1 have had a more aggressive design in that respect.
