Yes; they use the exact same mount.

I've used--and possibly even abused--my K-70 a bit out on the ocean in a heeling sailboat in salt spray, wind, and rain. In my experience it is very good at keeping water out, but given some of my use it would not totally surprise me if a seal failed: It has bounced into the cockpit more than once. The camera shouldn't be considered weatherproof.

I have found the ASTROTRACER unit does NOT stand up to weather, BTW. So I would suggest NOT using it to geotag your pics on bad weather days.

The answer is "Yes" but remember that the camera is weather-resistant only if the attached lens is also weather-resistant.

Good choice for the weather, I got soaked taking this shot and a few more of returning fishing boats. The lens hood kept the rain off the lens and I always wipe the lens down before retracting the lens as I hate to take the rain water into the closed up lens.

The k-70 can use kaf4 lenses in addition to all the levees your current camera uses.

Versatile and capable lens. It pairs well with the 55-300 - the overlap reduces lens changes. Here's an indication of what it can do.

That and a much brighter viewfinder (pentaprism vs penta-mirror).
