The Wi-Fi in the camera is presumably working fine. What is missing is app support and that is due out in the next week or so.

Edit: Updated Image Sync (v2.0.4) released today:

Yep, in this case the GR III launched without being able to work with the ImageSync the other Ricoh products use.

Forum member Chicken Tender has just reported that fixing it requires both a firmware upgrade and a new version of the app.
