Has anyone update their software

Why do I look...Anyway I was happy then I looked into oh software up dates for a K-70. Hey there is one download . So I did what the instructions said didn 't download. got K-70 v112.zip which was right but no go. Is there a straight answer here? I did what was explained power on holding menu button down nada no down load?

The file available on Ricoh's website is always the latest version, and you don't need to install any of the older ones as updates are cumulative. You'll be able to confirm that it's newer on the firmware update screen in the camera

You have to extract the .bin file contained within the k70_v112.zip archive (then copy this .bin file - careful that its name wasn't changed - on the root of the SD card you'll use for update).

I haven't read of any issues you will be glad to know . I updated a K3 & a KP

I updated my K-70 and my KP the same evening … no problems
Just follow the instructions and make sure your battery is fully charged.

I have updated my K-70, no problems! About a week ago.

did you unzip the downloaded file and place in the root directory?

has a card reader problem.

You should be able to connect your camera to the computer using a USB cable and use your camera as the card reader/writer, see p94 in the manual
