K-70 SD Card for Video

I'm thinking about getting some new SD cards and that brings to mind two questions:

1) What is the largest SD card that my K-70 can address?

2) How fast an SD card do I need for shooting video with my K-70?

I do little video, so not of much use, but one or two details I would mention for consideration … there's a 4Gb/25min limit to videos, so that might influence your choice of card, also, a large card can affect the time the camera takes to become ready from switch on, so several smaller cards might have their attractions.

Just my tuppence worth … Enjoy

My K-70 boots up fast enough with my current 64Gb card, so I won't gain any advantage from a larger card unless I want to shoot a lot of videos, and that isn't likely. Now the only question is how fast a card would be ideal.

I suggest getting a UHS-II card, mainly for quicker offloading onto a computer

UHS-1 is the maximum speed rating for the K-70.

I'm also new using a K-70 for video, but I followed the K-70 brochure basic specs and went for a generic 128GB micro SDXC I class 10 card with micro SD for both photography and video and, so far, all seems OK. You can find them in your closest MICRO CENTER store. i suspect that even a seasoned actor may get tired in a scene 25mins long. Of course, nature filming has it's own timing. Now, if I can learn the fine points of video scripting, sound and video editing and titling...

I think I should be fine, then, as I am using a 64Gb SDXC I card which is a UHS-I card.
