I am unable to open the pdf K-1 file. Please see the attached picture of the message which says that the file format is invalid. I have the current version of of Adobe PDF Reader available from Google Play and was able to read the sample of the K-1 file.

Please advise.

Thanks,

Don
Perhaps there's a technical error currently affecting the downloads. Will investigate and let you guys know.

I've done a bit of investigating and it seems the files are fine. If you're getting a format error, try re-downloading again, but instead of clicking on the link, long press it and select "download". Then it should work just fine

Here are the steps:
1. Click on this link: https://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/donations/?loginrequired=1&ebooks=1
2. Select $14.25 in the dropdown next to the K-1 ebook, then click continue
3. Select either paypal or 2Checkout (credit card) as your payment method and click the corresponding button to check out.
4. Complete payment through the payment site. Your eBook link will be PMed to you.

Congratulations on getting the K-1 II!

I paid the $13.99 for the K-3 e-book via PayPal, but am not able to download the book. How do I do it?

Thank you for your help.

On page 270 of the K5 book, there is a link to some auto focus charts. It seems the link does not work.

Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Hi Adam
I just purchased the ebook for the K1.
I noticed that there was a message from you in Chrome, but when i went to read it, it said there was some pop up blocker activated.
I did deactivate it, but now I cannot find the message. Do you mind resending the message, as I assume it contains instructions for the download

Thank you Adam, you have a thankless job trying to explain how to download this....... I myself had no issues except how to get it into my Mac (IPad) Ibooks, which I did figure out!

Yup, the message should remain in your PM inbox indefinitely. The download link in this thread should also work. Hope you enjoy!

I've been rereading some of mine lately and just thinking how lucky we are on Pentax Forum to have Yvon Bourque. His books are consistently helpful and colorful. Always a pleasure to read.
