E book issue

I bought the K3 E-book a while back and read a section as I get time. I just noticed that none of the illustration pictures show up. They appear as black boxes only.
I haven't looked at the book in a couple of months but I believe the images were there previously.
I have it on a thumb drive as I always did (the same one). Other graphics appear.
What could the problem be (what am I doing wrong)?

Just a guess, you may need to update Adobe Reader, or try another program to open it. Microsoft Edge works fairly well.

+1 for Edge, it's much faster than Adobe on Windows, it seems.
