Yvon Bourque the author of the previous eBooks passed away last year. Until someone else continues the series it may be a while.

A poster noted a few weeks ago that Adam has someone lined up to do one. We can hope this is true.

I have a YouTube channel that is dedicated to Pentax equipment.

It looks like it is in stock at B&H and Adorama, does anyone know for sure? I was under the impression that there were wait times for them?

What do you need help with? Asking a question in the K-3 lll sub forum will more than likely get you the help you need.

Sure. I'll do that.

I just thought that I read on here somewhere that there was a wait.

Lots of other countries have had waits. For the US, it was mostly B&H being slow to ship preorders.

That would be great. I like being able to carry around an ebook on my phone for occasional in the field reference.

My son is playing baseball in Cooperstown late this summer and I think it might be the excuse I need for pulling this trigger.

I have confirmed stock at both places. I also checked our local Pentax dealer, but they do not, so...to order or not to order?

Do it! The camera is absolutely wonderful. Spent five days roaming Badlands National Park with it, and it handled everything I threw at it. (I did drag out the 645D for some sunrise and sunset shots since (a) I love the CCD colors and (b) at that time of day, two bodies are often better than one in a place like the Badlands.)

Just posting this as an "FYI": I just visited the Lensrentals website to look at rental prices for some lenses. I saw that they will begin renting a K-3 III starting 14 July and a KP on 7 July.
Lensrentals.com to rent K-3 III and K-P cameras starting in July - PentaxForums.com

but no idea how many might be available to rent nor the cost of the rental
