In dear need:
A* 200 mm Macro.
A*/FA* 300 mm f2.8
A* 600 mm f5.6 (half the weight, same sharpness at f5.6 as the FA* 600 mm f4)

And the Bellows A and ring flash to go with that...
Yes, yes, yes! Amen! Word to that, etc. - I emphatically (take a number, 3rd or 4th?) that request.

Dear Pentax, please give us a customizeable Auto ISO where we can set the minimum shutter speed before the ISO changes start kicking in (Similar to TAv)

K20d firmware upgrade please

-Improving the live view (fix pixelation in zoom focus check), and any other features you can add to the live view (contrast AF detect), adding a live histogram (preferably 3 color/brightness adjustable).

-Gradation of color filters in b/w mode less substantial (big leaps of cool/warm settings).

I'll edit as I remember other items (if indeed there are others).

Dear Pentax,

I love my K10. L-O-V-E. I have not had this much joy for and with a camera since my first K1000. Let's hope this one stays with me just as long and takes me just as many places.

Thank you.

Why? The K10D's sensor was basically the same as the D200s.

Dear Pentax,

Make equipment available at physical stores...

In Portugal its almost impossible to buy a pentax Lens/camera in stores, at least with realistic prices, Pentax need more then online sales...

1) Lower extended ISO settings like 64, 50 and 25 so I don't have to use neutral density filters in bright sun.

2) Sensor gradient setting where the top or side of the sensor could be set to a lower sensitivity than the rest of the sensor. (ie. an electronic gradient filter) No more blown out sky or underexposed foreground. It would be really cool if the lower ISO area could be resized and moved around over the hot spots in the viewfinder.

3) Included usable photo browsing, noise reduction and raw conversion software instead of the current throw away token disk. How about HDR conversion software? Probably would not be a priority for pros but the enthusiast market might get excited about the added value of truely usable software.

4) Ongoing firmware upgrades for discontinued top tier bodies. I would pay a reasonable fee ($20-$30 per release, maybe as much as $50 for really good stuff) to see the K10D and K20D, etc. firmware continue to be upgraded and refined as new developments emerge.
1. Good

2. Itīs better to mark a area of highlights with 4-way button and use back wheel to put down sensitivity in marked area or get more in an area of lowlight.

3. Itīs not so bad but can be better.

4. Sounds nice and it should get Pentax a good reputation.

Isn't the fps from the shutter mechanism, not the sensor?

The FPS is mostly dependent on the camera processor+buffer and shutter mechanism. The size and type of the sensor just dictates how much data has to be fed to the processor in a given time period.

Dear Pentax,

Please release the 60-250 already, and please lower the prices as soon as possible. A reason why I switched to Pentax is the incredible value of the weather-sealed bodies and lenses. The pricetag of the 60-250 doesn't fit that.

Sensor has maximum fps limit. The real speed of reading sensor data is a bit lower.
Processor has an effect on buffer and inner work of camera, reading and writing.
If sensor has limit 5.5 fps, no any shutter to help camera to shoot at 6 fps with max resolution of sensor.
The ideal situation - camera can make the same fps as sensor allows.
