Viewfinder blinds

K1 is a serious camera that does nicely for long exposure. Blinds for the viewfinder would be a nice feature. Expensive to add, a "nice to have" spec, but extremely useful...
The current cover is easily lost and does not feel well.

I am experienced in large format (view camera) photography and I usually just drape the dark cloth over the film area when exposing. For view finder cameras, a cleaning cloth over the area does the trick nicely.

Some of the more expensive Canon and Nikon models have built in blinds. Would be a nice addition to the K-1 given it's 'field camera' designation. Even an external finder cup with blinds would be a welcome addition for those that do long exposure photography. A piece of gaffer tape will work as will a bit of dark cloth.

I built a cover that works and there are directions in this thread: K-3 underexposes with ND filter - Page 2 - PentaxForums.com

And a lot of info in this thread: Viewfinder blind - PentaxForums.com

These days, I tear business cards apart as cover. Simple blinds would be nice.... to have.
