Electronic Viewfinder

I have a KP and K1 and occasionally shoot short bits of video, perhaps at an event. I don't like using live view, and an electronic viewfinder would make it easier to hold the camera steady. I've had a look at Nikon and Canon, and they don't do one either for SLR cameras. I know they probably wouldn't sell many, but I'd still like one!

Since the K-1 has an HDMI port, you can easily adapt third party EVFs, such as this:

EVF Products | Electronic Viewfinders | Zacuto USA

Not sure about the KP since it uses the SlimPort adapter, though.

Thanks. I became all excited, and then saw the cost! It's probably worth examining further, though.

Yup, I think there are lots of cheaper options out there.
