I strongly disagree with that.
You not only want to stop paper versions but you even want to stop a PDF version. At least PDF versions are both printable
and viewable on-line; web pages OTOH do not generally print well. Even so, I spent hours having to print out the on-line version of my sat-nav PDF to put into a ring binder. The cost of a paper manual is trivial compared with that of a ICL camera, and with the value of my time.
FWIW, what Microsoft and Apple do is no recommendation to me, I loathe both of their houses. They are at the forefront of dumbing down and of taking ownership and control away from their customers.
