Pentax KP C1 C2 C3 function dial setting info

FYI, the custom settings can be configured to the following:

ISO Sensitivity, EV Compensation, Bracket Value, Custom Image, AF Mode, AF Active Area, Focus Peaking, Program Line, Shutter Mode Selection, Recorded Pixels, AA Filter Simulator, Grid Display, LCD Display Options, Image Magnification, Outdoor View Setting

I don't get why they did not put a dedicated ISO setting on that dial, because that is what most people will use it for. Really that is a gross oversight.

On my K-1 mine only moves from ISO to turn on Wi-Fi..

but didn't people complain about duplication of function when they did that on the K-1

Well the K-1 has a dedicated ISO button in the right spot. I don't know wether the ISO button on the 4-way controller even works with the front or rear control wheel. Instead of double functionality we get hidden functionality.

Not that it really matters very much since there is no top LCD to read it from

Rear, if it's the same as the other bodies with ISO on the 4-way. (every "plastic" body since the K-m/K2000)

I guess this is drive mode including frame rate and etc. ?
Or is 'shutter mode' a little different and includes only timers and mirror lockup ?

One of the C's probably defaults to ISO. But you're right- it could be there in addition to the C's.

This makes sense : shutter mode = either electronic or physical
