Thanks for posting. I have wanted to see the KP with a black pancake (as my Ltd's are black). Looks terrific.

Beautiful! Congrats!! And the great thing is, it will perform beautifully too! I agree, very good lens choice- so tiny. I already have the larger (ha-ha) standard 40mm f/2.8 in black, so I am pleased to see it looks so good with the silver body, which I plan to get. I also have for several months now, the 20-40mm Limited zoom lens in silver, and other silver version lenses, including 43mm and 77mm Limiteds. Apparently, either silver or black lenses look great on the silver body!

The silver and black lenses look equally good on the silver body, for sure. I always thought silver lenses look great on a black body, as well- win/win!
I've ended up with the largest grip size on mine. And it's good to find that the front wheel is not a problem at all. When the camera is switched on the switch lever is out of the way. I think it goes with the traditional shutter release location very well.

Quick question. Are the dials plastic or metal (like the mode dial on a K-5II or K-3II)?

As I understand it's silver painted plastic body? Looks not good.

That's a phone photo. Most bodies are painted, and the body is metal, except for the top- which must be plastic because WiFi. K-1 has a plastic top. It looks great, despite what Chris Niccolls says.
