One of the unsung virtues of the KP is its colour metering and rendering. The richness and fidelity of the colours is excellent. The K-3 was good but the KP is outstanding IMO. This was AWB as shot - I couldn't do any better in PP. It's a shock when I switch to the K-S2 whose white balance often wildly wrong.

Australian King-parrot. They were named for Philip Gidley King, the third Governor of New South Wales (1800-1806), whose distinctive green uniform amused some early colonists. This is a young male - the red plumage that will eventually cover his head and chest is just starting to show through. KP + DA 55-300 PLM at 170mm.
