Just opened the box on my new (used, of course.but only 2270 activations) KP after having my own stolen a while back. Mounted a 70mm Ltd as my 16-85 and 55-300plm also taken have not yet arrived. First really cold week here, very gray and dingey, and temps -6C (mid 20sF) but the nasturtiums are bravely putting green leaves out even now!!! (Plus I figured I couldn't really call a planter "landscape"!).

Happy to have a KP back in hand!

What a terrible thing to have happen! Glad to see you are getting back on track in replacement.

Stunning capture. I’d suggest printing large and making a wall hanging!

Short-beaked Echidna. These are monotremes (egg-laying mammals), like platypus. The hind feet face backwards to help them dig in when they feel threatened. Very effective, but it does produce a very distinctive gait.

Very exciting to get such a clear shot of the face. The opportunity doesn't come often, as they will dig in when people approach. KP + DA 55-300 PLM at 300mm
