Thanks for that info too, and that last line is the best thing you can say about any camera. I don't bring my K1 much of anywhere......my forklift is too small to handle it!

I'd like a KP I do believe, but the dilema is that I do love my K1...and I am pretty much a one camera person, other than a couple of Fuji Toy Cameras X10/X20. It could be a case of where Mrs Rupert is in for a new KP? That's how I got the X10/X20.......she "needed" them......and now maybe she "needs" the KP?

Best Regards....and you guys get to work filling this thread with more shots!

1. Venice Italy - Cafe's of Piazza San Marco.
2. Venice - Street Market Painter working on a watercolor painting.
3. Venice - Hands Sculpture holding building..
4. Venice - Street Market with multicolored masks - included to demonstrate the KP's ability to capture the color of all the clothing, people, and objects in the composition.

The KP does a excellent job of color fidelity and rendition. These were shot in Av Priority in RAW format, and other than applying the Lens Correction feature (to correct geometric distortion) in ACDSee, what you see is unretouched. Used the KP + 18-135 f/3.5-5.6. Really enjoying this camera and the image quality is fantastic.

A few of my wife's flowers in bright sun, JEPEGs uploaded low resolution (that's all the disclaimers I can think of right now )
With the DA 50mm f1.8
And a chickadee with the DA-L ED 55-300mm.

I've only gotten to take the KP out a couple times so far, so I'm still in the "banging away" phase, but this was handheld with the DA*60-250 in a dark room, f/5.6 and ISO 6400, SooC. I wouldn't have even attempted it with any of my previous bodies.
