Bought KP this past summer mostly for astro and indoor family photo, but I also bought DA 55-300mm F4.5-6.3 PLM RE and I'm enjoying the combination more than I thought. I roughly knew what to expect from the pictures you posted in this thread and elsewhere (thank you all), but I'm still impressed by the lens, it's pretty sharp with nice bokeh and color. Below are all shot at 300mm.
