Wow awesome photos guys. I would have an awesome photo for the thread but I had the wrong lens on my KP. Thankfully I had a better lens on my K3II and got a good photo anyways.

yeah its really frustrating. the store i brought it from listed it as having all 3 in the box. they must have copy pasted the whats in the box section from another page. as pentax AU got back to me and advised they're not included in asia pacific territories. it's bogus.

My KP came yesterday evening, so today I play.
I strictly shoot JPEGs and will continue to do so, no matter what advice some will want to give.

My K-S2 has clarity enhancement that I tried a few times, and the KP has settings from -4 to +4.
The following 3 shots are SOOC, loaded to Picasa, then up to Google Photos.
I'm not much of a techie and the KP has some bells and whistles I'll probably never use, but I'm loving it!
Thought some of you might be interested.
First shot at zero, second at +2 and the third at +4, all at f4.5, 200 ISO, with a DA 50mm f1.8.
Edit to add, nice photos above! We need more!

smc PENTAX-DA 21mm F3.2 AL Limited, f8, 1/100, ISO 800. Slight vibrancy boost.

Just got my KP a few weeks ago (new to Pentax and DSLRs) and blew my Amazon points on the 200mm DA*. Here's one of my first shots with it:

Wow, these are very persuasive shots for the KP!

I noticed in the recent dpreview review they recommend the sharpening be increased by +1 more in "Natural", setting and also "Fine" sharpness be applied. With other Pentax DSLR models, sharpening is already usually up by at least +1 by default in the "Bright" setting, and I have always added "Fine" sharpening, as well as increasing perhaps another +1 strength, depending on which model.

Of course with RAW images, sharpening is often applied in post process instead of using the in-camera settings.
