Quite a beautiful area you live in and, very nice shots!

I've only gotten to take the KP out a couple times so far, so I'm still in the "banging away" phase, but this was handheld with the DA*60-250 in a dark room, f/5.6 and ISO 6400, SooC. I wouldn't have even attempted it with any of my previous bodies.

Cosmo is a very cool cat! You have large rocks and drift wood in a room?

That's Cosmo's room at the zoo. He's a Sand Cat (Felis margarita), a desert wildcat. Sand Cats are about the size and appearance of housecats, but have a number of adaptations that let them live in the desert, including large ears, fluffy feet, and the ability to live on just the moisture in their prey. They also have a Bite Force Quotient (ratio of bite force to body size) more than double that of a domestic cat and comparable to a jaguar or leopard - which one of the keepers found out the hard way when he tried to grab Cosmo. Even with bite gloves on, he had to go to the E/R for stitches. Gotta respect a Sand Cat!

I decided to take the KP to Italy, with a bunch of compact lenses. I am currently six days into an 18 day trip, about to leave Lake Como for Venice.

The growing album of shots can be seen HERE

As I familiarise myself with the body's quirks (coming from K-3/K-1 ergonomics) I am becoming increasingly impressed with its output.

Me and my missus love Como, did you get up to the chapel above the lake or Castle Vezzio?

That little KP seems to pull some great stuff!

Has anyone here tried it for "moving wildlife" (birds and other such critters) with a da*300/4 and high ISO ?
