Another moon picture. Testing out the new 150-450 with the KP. Also tried with the Tamron 1.4x TC, but thought the quality was a little better just cropping more on the lens with no TC.

Most recentest grandbaby, my granddaughter Chloe. Taken at eight days old. What a sweetie she is!

Sigma 50mm f2.8 macro @ f2.8, 1/50 sec., ISO 1600.

Sigma 50mm f2.8 macro @ f4, 1/25 sec., ISO 3200.

Sigma 50mm f2.8 macro @ f4, 1/25 sec., ISO 3200.

Pentax F50mm f1.7 @f1.7, 1/80 sec., ISO 1600.

These were taken with a KP I was able to borrow while my K-S2 is in for ACB failure repair. I don't think I would have tried these at ISO 1600 or 3200 on the K-S2, but was very impressed with how these worked with the KP. The ergonomics are a bit different, but the feel is very solid. I'm really thinking about picking up one of these. Black.

This week I went to an event called "Be Alpha". It was organized by Adorama and Sony.
I wanted to try their cameras but there weren't enough loaners for everybody so I had to use my daily driver.
I was a little shy at first (everyone was using A7 cameras), but after I heard someone talking about his Olympus I got more confident.
Here is one of the shots with the 55 1.4 @ F2

Really like the mushroom, something very different, complex and interesting. What a find.
