I love watching the egrets hunt in the shallows. They are very good percentage-wise when they strike.

Went out to take some pictures with my new KP! The detail in the pictures is amazing.

Lenses used are the Takumar Bayonet 135 2.5 and the F 35-70

1st photo with my new KP

My new KP arrived via UPS late yesterday and it took me a few hours to get the battery charged up. Put the DA 21mm lens on and took it with me today to the local southern Oregon barbershop where I get my hair cut ... and this is what I - and my KP - 'saw'.

I already knew the DA 21 was a fine lens ... but having it on the KP is clearly an interesting combination, photographically speaking.

This is great, more users means more photos to be seen, keep it up, hopefully I can snag my very own KP next year's Black Friday.

Dead Santa

In the over-commercialization of Christmas, decorations appear magically at the end of November. I was strolling around the small Oregon town where I live when I encountered this deflated blow-up Santa, lying prone amidst the silent entourage of his unplugged electric reindeer.

So up came the KP - and here is what it saw ---
