Just got my KP went out for a cold shoot on a sunny afternoon. Sigma 18-50 lens ISO 100 slight crop Truck 5 shot composite all JPEG haven't tried raw. It was sure cold -24C. Couldn't be more impressed for a first time outing.

Found a little friend right outside my door hard at work building a big web. It's a Tropical Orb Weaver (Eriophora ravilla).

Photo taken in the close focus mode of the 35-70 and lit with the popup flash..

It warmed up to the mid 30's today so it was nice enough to get out for a walk.

A bit funny this is. Before it's going to freeze outside, we take our small olive tree into the dwelling. Outside it's snowing, inside the olive tree is blossoming like crazy.

Other plants have to stay outside ...
