Los Novios - the Newlyweds - Mexican Calaveras for Día de los Muertos

Día de los Muertos comes two days after Halloween - but shares much in common with the tradition of All Hallows Eve. This couple - of Calaveras (skeleton people) are getting ready for the forthcoming celebrations--

Buried....

Glimpsed something buried in a neighbor's front yard.
And I had the DA 10-17mm fisheye zoom on my KP.
The closer I got, the more I realized that some things....just don't want to stay buried

Yep, these things can be savage and absolutely will pick a hole in your forehead.
Had a fun stand off with this one, trying to tread that thin line of capturing an action shot whilst protecting my lenses/head!

Brutal!
