1 week

I've had the KP for a week now and think I have everything programmed to my liking. Visiting upper part of lower peninsula Michigan and got a taste of early winter.

2 shot pano

Got the KP because my k30 has the dreaded aperture solenoid failure

Thanks. The KP effectively turns the DA* 300 into a high-quality supertele.

Here's a shot with the DA* 300 combined with the DA 1.4x converter:
Great capture & composition.

Two more birds taken with the KP. The wren was taken with the DA 560 + HD 1.4 TC while the kingfisher is with the DA 560 alone, in low evening light.

Two nice bird shots with that big lens, redpit. I especially like the kingfisher - that bird has always been a bit of a favourite of mine.

Thank you very much my friend! I also love kingfishers and I was always envying beautiful kingfisher shots! Now I'm trying hard to take some good shots of my own and I'm really glad I had the chance to get some nice captions! I hope I will be able to catch him (or her I can't tell, I'm not an expert) in better frames or while catching a fish etc... That's my next target!

That, of course, would be the definitive kingfisher shot - so good luck with that. There used to be a kingfisher visiting my back yard every year, a few years back, but it is some time since I saw it. So I have yet to get a single shot of my own of this bird, so I envy you. Cheers.
