I haven't been around much or doing much photography recently, been traveling and adjusting to life on the road. But since I had the button issue with my KP, I've been taking more photos and spending more time here, wondering if I should try to get my KP repaired or just replace it. I had pretty much decided to replace it when I left hotter, humid areas and the camera suddenly started working right again.

Here are a couple I took after Thanksgiving when the buttons on the back of the camera weren't working right.

This fellow decided to hitch a ride (KP, DA16-85) when I left my cousin's house, taken at a red light before getting on the interstate. My mirror needs to be cleaned...

Suwannee River (KP, DA 16-85), taken on a short walk at an overnight stop (Suwannee River State Park)

Since my camera is now working fine, my computer has developed an issue with the keyboard. I'm currently typing using a wireless keyboard that's a little big for a small living space, one that I had in storage. I'm beginning to think of getting a new computer, which doesn't exactly thrill me. Though a new one would mean a slightly bigger monitor, a better keyboard, more memory, more SSD storage. Tempting - which would bother me more - spending the money to get a new computer or trying to find a safe spot for the keyboard when I'm on the move. It suddenly seems much bigger than it did when I had a house.

You really nailed the colors here with the sharply contrasted white and dark tones accented by the pink and yellow on their heads. Love it.

Edgewater Park beach, Cleveland. 65 degrees the day after Christmas. Crazy.

Taken recently with my recently acquired old Tamron 90mm macro lens, which seems to be living up to its reputation as a fine piece of legacy glass -

The subject is an ancient-but-well-preserved Dodge coupe, in a small Oregon town close to where I live.

Really like this composition, and a very cool looking car.

I'm still very new to my KP (got it this Christmas), and am still exploring and learning about it. However, it's already stunning me with the results - herewith a couple of birds for illustration:

And a king parrot

It's a massive step up from my K-30. :-D

Thank you. The original was in color but processing it for black and white gave it more of, well, pardon the cliché, but more of a timeless (old-fashioned) feeling.

Very nice pics, Tsuken.

Yes, I stepped up from a K50 to the KP and noticed an immediate difference in detail. That 50% increase in pixels really does a lot for our pics, I think. You can crop a lot more and still have a good image (provided, of course, that the original image was sharp to begin with!!).

Mind you, buying new glass also helped a lot: I bought the 55-300 PLM, the 16-85mm, and the 100mm 2.8 Macro with my new KP in June this year.
