You managed to get your KP and 70-200mm into the AO?

They traditionally confiscate cameras, and hand them back when you exit the grounds.

You are permitted up to 200mm maximum. The Sigma is a large lens, 1.4kg but I am prepared and always point directly at the 200mm. The bag check people aren't photographers so initially always think the lens isn't permitted.

I pretty much go every year. The appearance of DSLR or mirrorless cameras is becoming rarer and rarer. People are content with their phone camera's.
