What about a warranty enquiry, or have you tried ?
The camera is over two years old so out of warranty, sadly.

After thinking about it and trying to convince myself that I could get along just fine with my back-up camera (a K1), I happened to see the post about B&H selling the KP with a grip for the same price as the KP by itself. The only time I tried to use a camera with a grip I found it difficult because my hands are small, so I’ve never bothered with one in the past. But since it’s free, I figured why not and ordered it.

It’s hot dogs and peanut butter and jelly for the rest of the month for me...

That's an excellent kit too. I've also got the DA 12-24. It's a nice lens and obviously more versatile. But since I got the 15, I tend to take it more often - so pocketable and produces lovely punchy images, with a similar look to the 20-40 (I have the HD version of the 15). Would be a tough choice which to take on a trip. (Not that we have to worry about that at the moment!)

Yeah if I had no K-1 the HD DA 15 would be kept, I just try and eek out and maximise all my lenses. The DA 12-24 performs quite differently on FF to Crop and offers some alternative DoF and perspectives. But the 15 is so cute and compact and generally a no brainer to toss in the bag. The 12-24 and its hood can take up a bit of room.

Arcata Marsh. Taken with DA 18-135.

Very nice!! Fine work. Another thing proven here- the DA 18-135mm is still showing the improvement expected from the high-res KP that many would expect to only find with top-tier lenses. I have top-tier lenses, but when I need its versatility, I do not hesitate to snap my DA 18-135mm onto my KP! It remains one of my most-often recommended lenses.

You might consider also posting these fine images in the "DA 18-135mm WR show us what it can do" thread, and indicating the KP was used.

Yes, DA 15 Ltd.

KP, 15, 20-40 and 55-300 (all new except the 15) cost me $A2400 total. Hard to beat for a high quality compact versatile kit.
A great kit for high quality with amazing compactness!

Took another hike today. Might as well glue the 35mm limited on the camera when I'm in the woods.
