These 2 are "best" since they are my FIRST 2! (Had to replace both my K-70 & PLM due to a bad fall down a ramp...Shudda' walked down it like the President, I guess.) Both heavily cropped, 2nd pic at 100%.

Flowers in my front garden from the top of the stairs about 7 meters away. (F11, 1/320, ISO 400, zoomed to 260mm, hand held.)

Oil tanks on hilltop across the harbor ~ 2km away. Land/sea/land creates a lot of turbulence. 300mm zoom, ISO 320, 1/320 sec, f11, hand held.

I think I'm going to like the KP (large grip seems best for me) and this copy of the PLM seems at least as good as my old one if not perhaps a bit better, even.

A few more of our resident ruby-throated hummingbirds. First one is the male, second is female.

A young American kestrel (the one with spread wings in the first picture) landed on an electricity pole that was already occupied by an older male, and the latter was pushed out. I expected a serious fight but instead the older one just moved to the side, and they were just hanging around there. After a while the older one flew away, and the younger one followed him right away. Maybe the younger one was on flight training with dad or something?

Note the Asian Tiger mosquito feasting on the second rabbit's nose! Pentax SR is so good (hand-held with 55-300PLM @ ~30ft)

Thanks Shiner.

That mosquito shows how nice of a lens the PLM is. Mine doesn't get as much use since I got the 150-450, which I often carry along with the DA* 50-135. But when I want to pack light it's the one I grab.

Last night we went to a nearby mountain to capture Comet NEOWISE. It was a hazy night (probably it's fine sand dust as it was windy and we're in the middle of desert) but I was happy to be able to capture that long tail.

KP and Sigma 17-50mm F2.8 EX DC HSM at 36mm f/3.2, ISO1600, 5 sec.
