LOL! Thanks again for the feedback. Looking at this thread this morning, I went back to liking the water level better! I guess the moral of these two photos is to make sure your hummingbird feeder isn't on a tilted stump to begin with.
I went for a walk/hike a couple of days ago and had the DFA 100 macro on the KP. The trail was in a national forest and over 2800m elevation (the GPS on the K1 reports elevation in meters, I noticed) and hilly so I didn't take a tripod, so these are hand-held. And without a tripod, I wasn't about to try shooting a series for focus stacking, which would have improved them.

The thistles in New Mexico are fun to photograph. Looking for information about the plant part names for thistles (something I never thought about before) I think I identified this as a Musk Thistle and an invasive species not native to New Mexico. f14:

I thought the macro interesting - I always find myself seeing things I never see when I look at a flower or thistle at a regular size and distance.
