Tested out KP's image stabilation, and I think it does good. Also the image is straight out of camera, with BW setting.

Nice stack!
Just out of curiosity, what application did you use to do the focus stack?

Thanks. I used Affinity Photo for the stack. This was version 1.8.5. version 1.9 caused an error resulting in an incomplete image, but 1.9.1 has rectified this.

Awesome, I use Affinity Photo as well.
With so much detail in the stones, you could try taking each shot with Pixel Shift and then stacking the resulting images.
You may find it brings out more detail.

That image right there will keep me from moving back to Finland. Good shot never the less.

Testing a Tokina 20-35

Lately I haven't been inspired, much less successful to take good shots, but here are a couple of shots I took with a new acquisition: the Tokina 20-35mm F3.5-4.5
Pretty nice lens. Can't wait for the day when I finally buy a K1 and use the full potential of the lens. In the meantime I'll use it with my crop bodies.
