A truly superb image, and beautifully processed, too.

Thank you. My processing is still heavily influenced by my darkroom days. Mentally I'm still dodging and burning and looking for subjects which suit that. I appreciate it's not everyone's style or cup of tea though. A bit of good old fashioned film grain would suit it too I think, but sadly the digital version of it doesn't quite work.

I took this photo one and a half year ago during the Wings of freedom airshow that was then held near Ede. The photo was taken handheld with the combination KP + Tamron-F 1.4X Pz-AF MC4 teleconverter + DA * 300mm. The photo is cropped.

Spring flowers in the churchyard:

Being an elderly (and actually getting even older) long-time Pentax user and with dodgy knees and hips, I don't wish to carry much gear on a photography stroll. The KP and Limited lenses are ideal and also, with the tilt-screen, these shots from knee-height are available without straining the joints. Despite the Pentax principle, "We design cameras that allow our users to enjoy all the processes involved in taking a picture", the pleasure of taking this sort of shot is made more difficult, if not impossible for many potential users, by the new flagship camera.

Rocky Point on the Namibian Skeleton Coast. The Skeleton Coast place really deserves it's name. Very barren and very far from any permanent people, but lovely!
