That's weird indeed.
The numbers themselves (1024 x 681) indicate a horizontal photo.
I didn't image it to differ. I guess it's a bit of trial and error then.

I guess one sees different numbers according to the picture size. The system recognized a vertical photo and produced - ahem - vertical numbers.

The BBCode options reflect the orientation of the image, Marco. Your image is oriented vertically in Flickr. If that is not what you wanted, go to the image in Flickr, click the Edit button and select Rotate.

Incidentally, someone pointed out to me a while ago that PF prefers that images posted here be kept to no more than 1024 on the long side if possible (obviously panos are an exception). As I understand it, this is for optimal display on portable devices, although someone can correct me if I have this wrong.

Waiting for the jump...

Taken during a motorcycle trip last year through far north western NSW......reprocessed. Lightpainted foreground, astrotracer for the sky. Not sure when the last race meet was on (don't think it was recent).

My bahtinov mask for the Pentax 150-450 arrived today. Seems to have solved the focus problem.
Jupiter and Saturn, much cropped using the KP and 150-450 lens at 450 plus 1.4x Pentax converter.

I'll give it a try tomorrow with the other mask I bought for the 645* 600mm and 2x; On the KP and a Q.

Since I got a K3 iii the KP hasn't been used much. Took it out today as K3 iii batteries on charge. K3 iiI for fast auto focus is the camera to have but the KP is still a cracking camera, Saw Spidey making his web - hoped to get one of those photogenic web shots but in the wrong place for light moisture etc. So simple shot of Spidey eating a wasp... Little bit of processing in microsoft summit or other... mainly crop and reduce reds as shed background is a bit red. Tamron 17- 50 AF 2.8 as close as I could get....
Actually - as I am a few beers the worse for wear. If Pentax put the K3 III autofocus capabilities into the KP (lets call it KP II) I would go for that. K3 iii is a brill camera but having just used the KP again I prefer the ergonomics - just want K3 iii focus...

Flare or Moons?

Is that flare or are they moons? Just 3D printed a Bahtinov filter for the 150-450 and to try it out pointed it at the brightest star in the sky I could see at 6:40pm UK time (guessing Jupiter?) and took this (150 - 450 + 1.4TC on the KP). Other than cropping, it is as it came from the camera. Edit - After reading a bit about Jupiter it looks like they may be the four Galilean moons.
