Build quality is just as good, comfort, just as good in portrait but not particularly comfy in landscape,

Originally posted by mikesbike I am also interested in the KP and the grip as well. I will also be keeping my K-5 IIs, with grip- same one as that of the K-3, I believe. To me, one good feature of that K-3/K-5/K-7 grip is its taking AA batteries. If on a trip, I can pack along the grip and if by some chance I've failed to keep my camera batteries charged, or heaven forbid I've run off without my chargers, I can always throw some AA lithiums into the grip and keep shooting! I always take along at east 2 camera bodies.
No AA tray on this grip
