My understanding (quite possibly wrong, but what I was told by a supplier) was that it was intended as an American market thing.

I confirm a friend of mine who bought KP in France got the 3 grips as part of his purchase.

I just purchased D-BG7 from DCXPERT for AU $274.55 posted.
Pentax Australia, with 15% off = 279.60
Does it come with the large grip and D-LI90?

Mine came with the grip, but I don't think a battery was included.

I'd like to find a cheap KP grip, that I could put in pieces to try then to make a bigger grip, like the K3 one for example, I don't know how ^^

why not start with a k3 grip then ?

You would need to saw an old K3 just to get the grip !
