Nope...no downloads for YOU!

Seriously, though. The KP is pretty new and has been sufficiently well-behaved that there has not yet been a need for firmware. Adam is pretty good at posting a home page article when updates are released. Ricoh's facebook page also sends alerts if you "like" them.

Not yet! The KP already has all of Pentax's latest software features released to date.

Mine isn't, was playing with some ND filters in full manual mode. When scrolling the EV comp wheel to full at either end the camera will sometimes freeze up and has to have the battery out to reset it. Toggling the on-off or mode dial, or any other button has no effect. In fact while dialing in the EV comp, one shot froze and then I pulled the battery and framed up a second shot and ended up with a double exposure.

Bear in mind I have only had the KP a few days, so it may be user error. However, when turning the camera off, it shouldn't stay on....

It should be made possible to use Live View Histogram and Focus Peaking together. Something that works on K-1.

No, normally when processing the screen is black. This just had a frozen image on it, with the 9 quadrant grid. No other info. Even when the camera was moved the image stayed the same.
