Pentax KP Pixel Shift

I did a quick search and didn't see a thread about it. I'm slowly convincing myself I need a KP, to go along with my K3. I'm pretty interested in how the KP's pixel shift works, I was wondering if you KP owners could comment on what you think of it.

I don't have a KP, just wanted to say I understand, because the KP is the most attractive camera Pentax released in a while. Both in terms of aesthetics and features.

I have a K3, and recently purchased a KP. I could say that if a K3 replacement incorporates the best of both cameras, it will be a dream machine! I am really liking the KP!
So, a couple of days ago I found out that Rawtherapee handles very well pixel shift technology. I would suggest that you search about this as you will find some interesting discusions regarding pixel shift. But be aware that Rawtherapee does not include direct support for the KP at this moment.
