I just caught your thread, and am intrigued with your story, and our shared background. I received my first Pentax camera, and ME Super as a law school graduation gift in 1983. I moved to Sioux CIty and worked for Judge O'Brien 3-years starting in 1984.

Yup, JPEG. I sometimes use RAW+ but to be honest, not quiet sure what to do with it. I have my own custom WB. Works a treat.
